How to Recover/Repair SharePoint Database
SharePoint Server Recovery Software effectively recovers SharePoint databases and documents. User can view all the information present in SharePoint database such as SharePoint folders and document, database tables (in case of corrupt database file). The process is simple and user has to follow the step given below:
- Selecting and loading SharePoint database for recovery
- Validating the contents of the SharePoint database
- Saving the SharePoint database and/or document information
Step 1: Selection of SharePoint Database
User can load SharePoint Database in two ways:
(i) From File: To load database from .MDF file for recovery, Click the From MDF File option on the recovery window and browse the MDF Database file to be recovered as shown below:
(ii) From Live SQL Server Instance: User can select the MDF File from SQL Server by clicking the 'From SQL Server Database' option and type or select the Server Name. A list of Databases will be shown in the 'Database Name' field, select the required database file to be recovered and click 'Start Recovery' option:
After loading Database from file or from Live SQL instance click on “Start Recovery” Button to proceed with recovery.
Step 2: Geeksnerds SharePoint Server Recovery will show the SharePoint content as shown below:
Step 3:User can restore the SharePoint Database as shown below:
User can recover all/selected SharePoint document as shown below:
